New Leaf Expasnion

Work has begun at New Leaf Market located on the Parkway. The addition to and renovation of an existing natural food store as 13,000 square feet of phased work while the store remains open. Construction is expected to be completed in six months.

The entire front has been romoved. Today is saw a couple vans in addition to the trailer that has been out there for a while. It likes like hard work on the inside can continue in the rainy weather lately. Still no more work on a sign, roadside or facade.

today. The HHGregg van was turning west on 27 and stopped for an ambulance to traverse the intersection. So they follow the law, that's good. They were working when i got sent home due to the flu. I would say around 12 worker vehicles (its kinda a big, empty parking lot)

Well, I decided to snoop around and I came across some really good info on future Tenants of the Governors Crossing.. This Development is at the corner of Blairstone and Park avenue... The first corner is already developed and anchored by the Publix and Panera Bread..

I am linking the Tentative Site plan straight from the Developer Konover South..

Apparently They want to develop all 4 corners.

They still want to put the Bubba bank and trust BB&T bank on one corner, and a Kangaroo Gas Station on the other Corner.

But the last corner is where it gets interesting..

A five guys burger restaurant is slated.... heres the website Five Guys Burgers

Also an UNO's Chicago Pizza! Uno's Pizza

And lastly a Fairfield Marriot Inn Suites!!!!

I was really hoping for another dining option at this location. I think I've always experienced a certain disappointment when I see a previous dining facility converted into a non-restaurant... much the same way I was let down about the Fed-Ex{sodEmoji.{sodEmoji.|}}Kinkos that replaced TacoBell on Monroe.

Well I've taken note of the diversity of the late restaurants coming to town. Many have moped over those restaurants that we've lost but I truly believe they've been replaced by much better ones. If only the prices could go down a little more.
