I wish they were at least adding a couple floors to make it mixed use as well as eliminating the parking out front. That space is so wasted. The design of the market itself looks nice.

Love it, I've been saying for a while we need more small markets like these within walking distance of housing.

Spinx tried to do something like this before where the Cookstation ended up.

Mass of building was approved. Still need to come back to full board once more for lighting, landscaping, etc approvals as none of those were included with the submittal package.

I think this is a facade renovation, but I would be interested to know how a NEW SPINX downtown headquarters would look (massing).  I love their boiled peanuts.

Ugh, like the pink house that was on East Parkins Mill: a sore thumb.

I am not terribly optimistic on this project. The Spinx family did a very mediocre renovation of the Army Navy building. And their strip center with their offices on Washington is an abomination. They have the capital but seemingly lack the taste or ambition to build interesting architecture.
