LG Development has finalized the purchase of the site for $14.1 million. US Bank was the seller. They paid $350,000 for the site 20 years ago.

I think most of the urban banks are doing away with the drive throughs. All of the downtown banks, you have to get out of your car and go inside and do your business or at least go to the ATM located inside of a kiosk.

Even when I went to the Truist next to Vanderbilt, I had to do to the ATM inside of the doors as there was no drive-up ATM but there were still drive thru tellers. There are a lot less branch banks than there used to be in the downtown area it seems. A few have closed and some of the ones are smaller.

A permit for $788,400 was issued this week to construct a 4,000-square-foot building for a U.S. Bank branch.  LC Commercial LLC to serve as construction manager.

Some slight modifications are shown on the overall project via two new renderings.

I can’t tell from the renderings—is the bank a separate building in front, or are they going to build the bank part first and then build the rest of the structure around it?

Looking at the preliminary SP documents they are separate structures with rated wall separating them. You can see the snip below shows column line A at both the ground floor and second floor. The "rear" wall of the "Retail MEP" area appears to be the separation wall at the ground floor.  You can also see the dashed line of the tower with its "point" at the column lines A/4.

Also from the final SP documents, we can see the bank and street improvements are "Phase 1 Improvements"
