That's a very different looking sort of construction technique from anything I've see on here. Anyone know why there are no beams between the piers?

It is probably just a sequencing of the staging for concrete slab. The beam forms may just be coming in after the higher slab forms are put in place. Not sure if this project is posttension concrete or traditional reinforced.
