A speakeasy of unknown name is going to take up 2,184 sq. ft. on the main floor of the Canopy Hotel.  BL Companies is listed as the architect for the speakeasy project and W.G. Yates & Sons  Construction Co. is listed as the contractor.

This thing is moving at a snail's pace, imo. I know they lost a lot of time bc of the crane fiasco but just seems to be taking a long time otherwise. They have started framing in the windows though

There seems to be a full team on site every day now that the crane is fixed.  If they're adding a floor every 4 weeks or so, they could top out in October.

Didn't we hear way back when that even though they sold the land that Yazoo was wanting to maintain a presence in the Gulch and would put a tap room in the structure?
