Well, I work third shift so technically I do.  Waffle House on Stone Avenue is open 24/7 and backs up against a neighborhood. Same goes with QT on Academy Street. None of the other cities and counties in the upstate or the rest of the country for that matter have an issue with Whataburger being open 24/7. Why do our city officials and Greenville homers on this forum do? Why are people so against Greenville being a 24 hour city? I don’t get it.

Yep. Catering to a whole six people. That’s the City of Greenville for you. Hindering economic development while still not fixing our roads one day at a time.

Correction....Drive THROUGH....although some restaurants are better to drive BY.

The West End regulations clearly states drive thrus were not allowed. It wad stupid for them to even apply for it. Pendleton St. Is not in the CBD. Apple. Vs Oranges.

 Nonsense. They will live with the consequences of the decision and an approval is required by law. They were well within their rights to advocate their side.
