I worked there for a few years (worked in Gruhn but not for Gruhn) and George Gruhn has a huge collection of exotic reptiles in his office. He'd just sit and talk to whatever VIPs were in about some of the history and background to their oldest items on the upper floors, surrounded by terrariums full of reptiles. Always felt like something out of a Rudyard Kipling book.
