agreed the corners are where the awkward proportions are most obvious. Straight on, from afar, once the pyramid is up won't look so bad.

To each their own. I like it all around for the most part, but especially from the corners. I think that the pyramid looks larger when you can see two sides of it opposed to just one. The popular picture that JorgiPorgi posted at the top of this page is from the southeast corner.

the BOAT at Legacy today.  The final rezoning hearing for Legacy 2 tower is Dec. 17 so I would anticipate that tower starting 1Q 2019 possibly.

It is my belief that Legacy Union 2 and Spectrum South End were after the same person, Honeywell, and I think only one of those projects, depending on who gets selected, if one of them gets selected, will start 1st Qtr 2019

That may be but I still wonder about AXA since not sure how much space they can expand in Innovation Park in the university area and they are adding 550 jobs.    Whoever wins the Honeywell deal will surely start immediately.

Certainly seems like Spectrum South End is the odds on favorite, if not already the clear winner. That being said, LU2 seems to be well connected to have other tenants lined up.

Yeah....LU2 has already had a full cycle reviewing in the building permit department.  It's months ahead of Spectrum.

My suspicion is LU2 has a tenant that needs this space quick.  Honeywell has temp space lined up.  I'm going with AIG expansion, but not sure.

AIG has expanded to portions of other floors Uptown and is completing renovations/expansions in their current space in Uptown and South Park.

Of course LU2 is 2-3 years away from full completion so could still be in the cards. AIG's office space in the US is a mix of suburban and very urban, but they like to have their own dedicated space.
