Harpeth Valley Apartments (six 4 story buildings, 251 units) will be the name of the 23.5 acre development at 8121 McCory Lane. MDHA has finalized a land-lease with Elmington Capital Group .  The Amazon Housing Equity Fund will loan $18.82 million towards the construction of the  affordable housing project.

Right!  Siding!  And Stucco!  And the 80s-style faux moulding at random places. One of the first things I notice is how many different exterior materials being used, and most/nearly all the time (IMHO) when there are many (more than 2) it screams value-engineered or even cheap.

Nashville General Hospital has released more images of what they are hoping for at a new site in MetroCenter (although the search is covering other areas of the city as well).  They several 5 story structures and two large parking garages spread over what appears to be a 20+ acre footprint. The hospital's first choice is still 720 Mainstream Drive.

I think they sort of missed the mark with the miniature water tower. It just looks out of place and stupid. If they wanted to do a water tower, then it needed to be a lot larger. I just don't get this this one. Sort of like a mini-Godzilla in Tokyo.
