This is giving ME a headache.  Can nobody have a headache?

I am "somebody", and I work for Trader Publishing Company.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

It's alive. Walk over to veverkaps desk, and between the 2 of you I want you to come up with a schedule of who can be on at what time so we don't have this confusion anymore.

Dude this is too funny!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Okay funny guys, some serious news:

The base of the second crane has been lifted into place along Plume Street. I expect the concrete to be poured around the base today... if weather permits.

Yeah, I think it's supposed to be a washout today but hopefully they can get to it before it really starts raining. On a side, note this is a question for you or any of our Trader employees, has anyone heard how high this thing will be in feet? I've been trying for months to get that information but have thus far come up empty handed.

Trucks are lined up all around the Trader site, in the streets, circling blocks. They are all loaded with huge pieces of the crane.

There isn't enough room on the lot to store all these pieces. I'm thinking crane #1 is going up today.

Man, where's that backflip smiley when I need one  . Great news, I bet thats quite a

sight to see too. It'll be even more impressive when they have 2 cranes up for the Hilton too. All that construction within a city block is not something you'd expect to see in Norfolk.

It's going up.  Looks to be about as tall as the royster building right now.  At LEAST two more sections to go.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Good lord! :o They put that up with a quickness didn't they? I guess they don't want to be tying up downtown streets for too long.

I would tend to think that they will wait for Trader to finish before starting on Hilton.

Two construction sites across the street from each other in the heart of downtown would cause quite a mess.
