  1. If you drive on this street during a game day you'll see why. As nice as it would be to reduce this road down to two lanes, I can't see that being approved because of the access to 277
  2. Going forward, developers really should focus on multipurpose towers, rather than single use towers. Also having entire single-use districts should be a thing of the past
  3. I'm sure a tower will be built there at some point. It may not be purely office as planned, but something will be built, even if we have to wait a while.
  4. I don't understand why that area has so many interstates?
  5. Charlotte, the city of small parks lol
  6. I wish the parking deck looked more finished. Otherwise, I really like this building
  7. Trees do act as a buffer and reduce freeway noise Edit: many of us on here would love a park on a freeway cap. That would be just as noisy, if not more so being directly on top of the freeway. A park next to or on top of the freeway would be fine
  8. I hope that some sort of park is built on this site. Charlotte needs a big park in the center of the city
  9. Charlotte needs more bold architecture. It's been lacking that as of late.
  10. Yup, a bust stop for every 1/4 of a mile.
  11. A s l u t dungeon!? Sounds like it might have been a good time. LOL
  12. I agree. I now consider all of the immediate neighborhoods adjacent to Uptown as being part of Center City
  13. South End has a lot of flat roofs. Hopefully someone will switch that up at some point
