  1. This can't go in Century Farms, because there is not a big chunk of land left. Across I-24 is the new Mill Ridge Park. South of Century Farms is already impossible because there are already several subdivisions and apartments (built and under construction) Google Maps is behind in this area
  2. 333 11th Avenue South is an example where some didn't like a brick building being allowed to be built in the middle of a modern environment. The term 'hideous' was used
  3. ^^That is the Vintage 1857 apartments along Cane Ridge Rd - not technically a road
  4. What if they are NOT trying to be a Disney or Six Flags? How about a Beech Bend Park or Holiday World concept where it starts small and grows? It doesn't have to be a rival to Cedar Point on opening day
  5. **Melbourne, FL and Palm Springs, CA are new destinations for Nashville
  6. This is consistent with what I've heard, but still thinking it will be a bit later than a summer start. That SkyClub is being built to cater to the high end clients traveling through BNA. Delta wants their business. Period. And BNA is the reliever for ATL, thus another reason, so I'm told There have been rumors for years about Nashville being a focus city and a flight to Europe, etc. Delta is probably just trying to block the competition
  7. Agree 100%. I immediately recognized the microphone shape and the sound waves, the very first second I saw the crest. It says Music City, without saying it!
  8. I guess they haven't given up hope on the 3rd office tower announced 5(?) years ago. No surprise here. Almost all office space is going to Berry Farms now. Still wondering what will become of Ovation and its neighbors
  9. Did they move the Kitty Moon? If so, that's awesome, because you couldn't see well before
  10. Chipotle and First Watch are confirmed for Century Farms
  11. I visited Memphis with my son, before the pandemic, and was blown away by several of the museums. Really showed what a matured city can offer! Love the light show on the Hernando DeSoto Bridge! Taking a boat ride, the Pink Palace, and so much more! Great place to bike! It's a city with great promise, just give it some time! Now, let's please get back to the Ritz-Carlton! OUR Ritz-Carlton!
  12. @Brichar4, absolutely happy to have you here! First, thank you for all you do with the wiki page! It is a great reference that is quick and easy to access! Hopefully, you won't get overwhelmed with requests, but we think most everything looks good Welcome to the forum!
  13. But please remember government buildings - especially a court house - has building standards that are about 5x more strict than a BroadWest office tower. It's actually impressive they are progressing this quickly! This doesn't compare to other construction on any level Looks......like..... When will the horses arrive? I'm guessing they left out the mechanical barns in the original renderings
  14. Cool shot from above I-24 just inside Old Hickory Blvd. Mill Ridge Park is to the right, Century Farms is on the left past the first bridge (but blocked by the hill in this pic), the second bridge is the Hickory Hollow interchange
  15. That Cinnabon (and Wendy's) is a popular place for me, lol, and I think I'm a regular customer at that Sam's Gas! Agree on the Pilot - that destroys traffic there As for the other Crossville gas stations and the impact, there are a few, like the Speedway, that will be impacted. But with the volume of I-40, I think it will be a welcome relief when it opens
  16. Then Buc-ees should offer the 4 minutes stop for gas and restroom break. As others have pointed out, the quality restrooms are a huge draw. How fast can one exit I-40 and return remains to be seen, but it should be quick But you can also get a meal there (or to go) which saves you an additional stop during your trip
  17. We'll have to wait to see what the gas prices are in comparison, but it will absolutely impact everything from Cookeville to Harriman, and beyond. Pilot should take a pretty big hit. And it will impact all restaurants and more, as well. I'm thinking all 3 Cracker Barrels to Interstate Dr. It will be a while before it's open and by then the I-40 volume should be at a level where it will be a welcome relief to have! The superstores have everything from food seasonings to home decor. Oh yeah, and food, did I mention they have food? lol
  18. Buc-ees is as much of a destination as IKEA. Buc-ees is like comparing the Fifth and Broadway Assembly Food Hall to an I-90 oasis Negative, not a truck stop. It's a 53,400 sq ft 'convenience' store that has 175 employees! That is bigger than almost all grocery stores!
  19. Thus far, my favorite is the Nashville Roller Derby (rebranded from the Rollergirls), founded 2006. Member of WFTDA. https://www.nashvillerollerderby.com/
