Not sure if any of you are old enough to remember...back in the late 70s or early 80s, there was this PSA on television about not littering. At the end, in a very poignant moment, a native American man would be shown with a single tear coming down his face. Setting aside any political correctness thoughts, that image is how I feel every time I come to select threads and see no new updates or good news from you development spigots.

350 Deaderick Tower (21 stories on top of existing 12 story garage)
nashville born replied to markhollin's topic in Nashville
Is this one dead??? Agree with the voices that would like to see action in this part of downtown. -
Been looking through old threads. Can we get Lexy to post some updated shots of the downtown area? His photos are awesome and the "city" is ready for it's next photo shoot!

Been meaning to share this for a few months. Apologies for the poor image quality. I used a pencil and it doesn’t show well in the photo. Drew the late eighties Nashville skyline from a postcard back when I was in college. Then drew in fictional buildings to expand on what has always been a favorite skyline and favorite dream (seeing it grow). So tickled to follow what y’all have going.

Thanks for the clarification. Almost lost it thinking my CS was gone. If these two are built as currently rendered, the KVB roundabout area will be delicious!!!! Those two, 805 Lea, that _______ Westin (insert your expletive of choice), and the JWM......NICE!!!! Then, if/when Fairmont and Buckingham come online, I might just shed a tear. Color me excited!

Wait...given the location, does this mean that Circle South is a goner?

Can I also get a little Calamine lotion for my Buckingham, Circle South, and Fairmont itches?!!! P.P.S. Man, this is awesome news!!!!

Apologies for asking this question on a totally unrelated string. I'm a late comer to UP and I've been catching up. Yet I don't think I've read a definitive answer anywhere on the 5/3 height question. I keep studying photos and I'm aware that the CBD is hilly terrain. Yet I've walked downtown and I've seen the proximity of 5/3 to 505. How is there just a 32' height difference? Again, sorry if asked and answered. Can't find it and can't understand it.

Wish list: Circle South , Fairmont or Ritz, NY 60 story, Buckingham, Cummins Station towers, two blindside announced towers over 550 feet each, and the Phoenix (aka Signature Tower) all start in earnest.
