I just can't believe they'd want to get rid of two floors worth of housing. Seems incredibly shortsighted.

From the article: The approval came with two amendments from Commissioner Hill: a reduction from 17 stories to 15 and a maximum overall height of 171 feet. A height of 182 feet was originally asked for. Anyone know why they would want to do that?

I don't think it's a bad idea, or even necessarily low-brow. It could be great for young professionals moving to Orlando that want to get a feel for the city before committing to an area for an extended time. A step up from the sketchy weekly places.

I used to frequent Ceviche years ago, but stopped going as their quality decreased. It's been about a year since the last time I was there. It's not what it used to be.

Does this building require art covering the parking garage or is this one exempt?

Disappointed they didn't stack it on top of the parking garage for added height and denser land use.

If they build that I will eat tower 1. The height alone would be a tall order.

Plating didn't look nearly as nice when I went, but the food was fine and the interior aesthetics were pretty pleasing. Good addition to the area.
