  1. This building has no business being as good as. I forgot to get a shot of the church next to it, but they complement each other very well.
  2. I should have taken some pictures from the rear, but I didn't think it was worth the walk. Anyway, this building is flying along.
  3. The construction on the food hall portion seems to be full steam ahead. I really like this building because it's pleasant to look at no matter which direction you are coming from.
  4. Lots of new signage up looking for office tenants at the Sentinel building. Loopnet listing up as well. Wonder how long they plan to keep the Northern Block standing.
  5. I'm surprised it didn't go on the Bumby/Robinson intersection; it's far more utilized. Looks cool though.
  6. They have a Subway and Dunkin open in the UnionWest building if you want to count those.
  7. The only structure left standing on the southern block is a single wall. There are a number of really nice, mature trees that I really hope somehow get incorporated in the redevelopment.
  8. Pie in the sky. To say that is unlikely would be an understatement. Still... one can dream.
  9. I'd love to see something that approaches the height of the Wells Fargo tower. It looks weird as the only big building in the area.
  10. Lol are you going to call him President Mayor Pete one day?
  11. The Big Brown Box seems to be replacing the graffiti gallery Westartwalls which is one of the more colorful locations in Parramore. It'd be a real shame to replace something unique for something so bland.
  12. Does a demolition warrant a Ron Paul visit?
  13. This is a really nice picture that shows the step-down to the new building. The more I look at it, the less I like the center visor thing. The building looks like the rear of a car with a awkwardly small wing on it.
  14. This is open then? Do you just go straight up the elevator to the bar? I can't seem to find any info on their website.
  15. Wow that's disappointing. They were my favorite airline for sub $400 round trip tickets to Europe.
  16. College Park Park is perfection
  17. The Orlando Magic Team Shop is already open Monday thru Friday and it's attached to the arena. Agreed about a Disney store not succeeding there. At least not until downtown gets significantly more tourists.
  18. Bring back the Giant Concrete Block! But seriously, it's feels nice to have a building there. I can't wait for Society to start going vertical so we can have a nice wall of buildings along Orange.
  19. Can't wait to see what ends up on the ground floor. Anyone happen to know the sq footage available?
  20. Every time I'm on Church Street it may as well be a haunted house
  21. I hear you and I totally agree that it'd most likely go to I-Drive, but I don't think downtown is as unlikely as you think. WWE has used the Amway Center and the Citrus Bowl, so they are familiar with the area. They could even tie in a few induction ceremonies with matches at one of those venues. I think it's absolutely worth a shot to bring a tourist attraction downtown. All of those millennials that grew up in the Golden Age of wrestling are now taking their kids to Disney, and it'd be nice to bring some of that money to Church Street.
