  1. It was on the front page of the Manchester Times at one point in time. I also happen to know some people that own border land to the Bonnaroo property.
  2. Manchester was supposed to get Six Flags about 5 years ago until Bonnaroo outbid them for the land they’re currently on. Both parties (Manchester and Six Flags) were very serious about the move, but money talks. Six Flags offered 7.5 million for the current bonnaroo land along I24 at the time when it was just being leased, then Bonnaroo countered with 10 million and bought it out.
  3. Let’s not stop there. Page me and I’ll call you from the nearest pay phone.
  4. All of that space in the bottom left of the photo gets me pumped (hopeful) about future development.
  5. Boom! It’s over!.........in all seriousness, I think Nashville ends up landing this with or without the oak ridge boys.
  6. As long as this garage matches the outside of the hotel and doesn’t take the 222 route, I’m good.
  7. Casinos are actually illegal as well in Mississippi even though you have them in Tunica, Biloxi, etc. They did it the clever way, though......they’re all on barges on water, casinos are only illegal on land.
  8. Won’t disagree that there are people that can afford it, but how many are we talking? Surely Tony checked out average income and demand before building this, but of course it’s his money regardless. I still think these prices are outrageous and developers are getting more and more ridiculous trying to make a killing off these places. Take a residential suburban neighborhood for example, a head contractor spends about 50k in labor and materials just to turn around and put the house up for sale for around 250k+. Charging 150k and making 100k profit instead of 200k is never good, but lower prices are gonna make you more money in the long run as people flock to affordable housing like that.
  9. Living life to the fullest doesn’t mean putting your life in immediate danger. There’s a difference in living your life and being an idiot.
  10. I know many of us have beaten this dead horse over and over, but something really does have to give here. It may be more expensive in the short term, but long term it’s a great investment to get them buried. Power outages are a lot less likely and they don’t have to be replaced as often.
  11. Well it was mentioned before the rendering was released that it would be something Nashville has never seen and they’re spot on. The different heights on various spots of the building is definitely different. I like it overall, still doesn’t top the JW Marriot, but it’ll definitely look good out there.
  12. Things happen when fans quit on a coach. That never happens at Neyland any other time, but it’s a normal day at Vandy’s stadium.
  13. I’d also like to add that I think this is just what the area needed in terms of color differential. This thing sticks out in a good way and it will mesh well with all of the new glass buildings going up.
  14. Maybe they can wrap the garage with some kind of electronic billboards. I love the glass and the street activation this is gonna have.
  15. Love it. Some nice landscaping always makes things look much better.
  16. How far in the future are they eyeing for a structure? They would be better off leaving it a grassy area until then instead of having to break through some asphalt if a structure is indeed their plan.
  17. SoBro is looking absolutely amazing. Can't wait until all of the other projects are complete.
  18. Less surface parking way back then from the looks of it lol.
