SC now has population. over 5M residents according to new official census estimate. The upstate has new folks that have recently moved from other areas of country....meet many shopping at Cabelas. They love Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson area....as they should.

Is Diner 24 permanent? Was hoping they'd change management and continue....that's a good location to be wasted.

Probably necessary... some reviews were very negative & indicated serious issues. Hope it reopens and is successful correcting them.

Drove by this yesterday while downtown....now appears more impressive in person than before...like a little better. Still a big white box...

The top floor reminds me of the observation deck for a penitentiary...

It is a shame...does not appear to have been utilized for a long time and became an old eyesore. Change happens...wish it could have been revitalized for the present.

I like the design...it's crisp/unique and presents an overall appealing structure on South Main. I am pleased as well with the lack of brick. If there are plans for adding some strategic lighting...the structure will look awesome at night. What are the 'ledge-like' additions on the sides (approx. 6th floors)? They must have a purpose...curious what it is. The entire Camperdown development is awesome....very attractive for South Main/Falls Park area. Downtown has really changed...many of the new structures are pleasing to the eye (still do not like big white box on Rhett St.). I remember downtown of the 60s-80s so well.

There's 12 floors above the (3 story) garage....correct?

That's good news...for some reason I'd like funds as this invested with more public transportation opportunities (increased buses/routes, etc.).

Ditto about comparing it with communications building...how in the world was that terrible architecture approved? I like the overall appearance of this structure...will be interesting what recommendations are offered by DRB. Let's get it going!

Importantly, we know what the trash receptacles will look like...the lighting appears to be awesome!

This may not take long...developer C is probably anxious and prepared to negotiate to get the nod. Trying to be optimistic....

Enjoy the visions/speculations....suspect the main structure will have substantial square footage (20-25K) on each floor with several elevators available to handle the volume of pedestrian traffic for all the agencies, etc. I vision the building to be 10-12 floors. Will be interesting to find out the final decision of the council!

You can count number of direct flights to Orlando on one hand....using 3 fingers. Hopefully more direct flights can be added in near future.

Wife wants to fly....arranged shuttles for transp. everywhere since we're lodging in the park.
