  1. VUMC has valet parking at the main entrance, ED, clinic, and cancer center. The garage valet is temporarily suspended.
  2. From an article last year: "First, Grummon relayed some basic stats: the West End tower is 20 stories. The lower five floors house student rooms during the school year as part of Zeppos residential college. The middle portion is housing for visiting faculty or guests of the university. The upper floors are used for conferences."
  3. That map is unfortunately not accurate. I think it reflects cities that have at one time had a nonstop flight, as there is not currently a nonstop to Portland, Maine, but there was last summer. It made my annual summer trip to Maine so much nicer not having to fly into Boston last year.
  4. Just an update to this. Those of us in the Oxford House are now being told that plans have changed (after an engineering assessment) and they are now going to demolish OH earlier in the process than they had hoped.
  5. The Oxford House will not be removed until the Link Building is complete enough for current occupants of the Oxford House to move into the new building. It should be an interesting process.
  6. The vast majority non-COVID. Our COVID level has remained fairly steady over the last 3 weeks.
  7. While we definitely had a lower census the last couple of weeks, that is no longer the case at VUMC. Yesterday we were at 80% capacity and that was before elective procedures resume tomorrow.
  8. Yeah, I think you're saying exactly what the article is saying. So far, the mutations that are being seen should not hinder a vaccine, but it's definitely wait and see. And as for immunity after exposure, most seem to think it should last 1-2 years, but again, wait and see.
  9. Here's a good explanation of mutation/vaccine research from today's NYT: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/04/16/opinion/coronavirus-mutations-vaccine-covid.html?action=click&module=Opinion&pgtype=Homepage
  10. Keep in mind that with only Clear you will still have to remove shoes, liquids, etc. You'll need Clear and PreCheck if you wan to use the PreCheck line for personal and carryon screening.
  11. Southwest announces new nonstop service from Nashville to: Portland (ME), Portland (OR), San Juan, Norfolk, and daily to Omaha.
  12. According to the East Nash FB page it sounds like you're right. 44 residential units with less than 2000 square feet of retail. Not sure if there are renderings anywhere.
  13. I think you're forgetting the thousands of tourists that come to Sevier County on a daily basis just to go to Dollywood and then drive the 1-4 hours back home.
  14. Are you sure there will be ground floor retail? My concern is we'll get one of those hideous Trinity Lane complexes with no retail component, which would be a shame in the heart of the "village".
  15. Maybe not as casual as what you're seeking, but for great Lebanese food we do have Epice.
