  1. Didn't get a chance to go inside yet but did post their menu on Bungalower.
  2. For those that prefer to read a story, posted on Bungalower.com this morning.
  3. You asked here's the answer on the O & C Hotel on Bungalower.com I wouldn't expect much on the other two...I'll try to get an update out on them but you won't be happy
  4. Yep they are closed...just shut down...no warning.
  5. I thought that one was better...but I don't know that she is doing that one for us. I know it says in progress but that doesn't show on any of the plans and I would find it odd that there would be two by the same artist. Maybe I missed something? Also for what it's worth we will be posting about all of the sculptures as they get installed on bungalwer.com and we're not afraid to peek behind the fence Post on this one with a link to a google map of all the locations.
  6. Update on two LYMMO projects: Current LYMMO bus shelter restoration East-West LYMMO Expansion Update
  7. Those were the locations proposed by the city....the two companies have proposed their own locations. We'll be posting those locations soon at Bungalower.com. And yes it's a start because those 16 locations were for 200 bikes but the city has asked the companies to phase in a total of 800 bikes. Where do you want to see the locations?
  8. Thanks Pete. I don't know that there is any activity...although the sign is gone and it's being used for parking. I've actually had people complain about this. The idea that they shouldn't be able to use a dirt lot for parking because the more money they are generating the less likely they are to develop the property. The good news is that the state/city extended all PDs so that they can resurface at any point and begin construction without having to pay for a new master plan. The bad news is that because they don't have to go through the public approval process with the city we won't know anything is happening until we start seeing dirt move...unless they update. I have reached out to those that have easy to find contact info in that area...but haven't heard back from anyone. Also, I'm not sure on the exact details of the extension. I believe it was that they had one year and now it's extended five years. I think that would be a total of six (not questioning my math but rather if the one year is separate from the five). Someone can chime-in if they know more.
  9. Talked to the developer today for a post on Bungalower. He says it will be open Fall 2014. Pricing seams to be reasonable. Agree....I think my next move will be in a rowhouse style building like this or the brownstone townhomes.
  10. The dip in Orange Ave...people calling the Orange Ave Dip (didn't make that up) is getting repaired...details on Bungalower.com
  11. One of my favorite bars in the area is now serving food. Because drinking at an import furniture store wasn't cool enough. Details on Bungalower.com
  12. I don't doubt that but do we have anyone (City, MLS or team) on the record saying that? I'm sure it will be fine but it is s step that needs to be completed and in the world of sports and politics nothing is done until it's signed. I am wishing for the best and think we will be OK.
  13. Yes. William was very helpful (all of the folks from Post were). I'm actually biased towards Post. It was the only apartment complex I've ever lived in that I walked away liking the apartment complex and the folks who run it. Thanks for reading and we love the popsicles btw!
  14. Thanks. I'll take a look at those.. You can always send in questions or comments on the Contact form on the site.
  15. That had some paint swatches on it Yesterday. Maybe you'll like it better when it's painted and the big Tree sculpture is in the roundabout? Maybe?
  16. A great move forward...just need the final sign offs..and the MLS approval! A part that was left out of most of the stories is that it is contingent on getting an MLS team. Obviously that was the plan and the end goal and we think that MLS will go for it but that does have to happen still. For those that like raw documents I posted a link to Jacobs letter in the story on Bungalower.
  17. Thanks for the kind words...trying hard to build something useful. Alway feel free to send feedback. That street was a point of contention mainly with the exit on the back side. Neighbors didn't want people to turn right onto Haven and cut through Lake Formosa. It feels more like an entry than a street. For example I think that the entry to SoDo feels more "street like."
  18. Posted on the wall on Bungalower.com today...for some reason it was difficult to get to the bottom of this one...like oddly difficult. No one wanted to take credit for noticing that the wall was too high. Post was the only one who said "we noticed it first" The city wouldn't say anything regarding how the permitting process changed or even confirm or deny if the rumor that Mayor Dyer was the one who pushed for the wall to be lowered. Anyhow here is what we ended up with (photos included). Feel free to comment on the story with your thoughts! http://bungalower.com/2013/08/wall-blocking-lake-eola-view-shortened-for-better-views/
  19. I can see it both ways...I like the idea of facing fresh market because mills isn't the nicest street to sit out on..but I also like the visibility of being on mills.
  20. They changed their mind.... It's Firebirds. Firebirds seams excited about the development. http://bungalower.com/2013/08/firebirds-coming-to-mills-park/
  21. Here's an update. There is still a push to save them. $2,500 a pop and you can help: Bungalower.com Article
  22. The Smiling Bison opens today in the old Redlight Red Light space. http://bungalower.com/2013/08/the-smiling-bison-restaurant-bar-opens-on-bennett-rd-today/
  23. It will be Hertz 24/7. Posted the details Bungalower: http://bungalower.com/?p=276 Can't wait for it to start.
