I wasn't able to make it to the public meeting on this project. Judging by the Facebook responses though, the people in attendance were overwhelmingly against the project, which is no surprise. Did anyone go and was there any new information shared?

The building doesn't start until east of the Tijuana Flats/CVS parking lot. They are reconfiguring the parking lot though.

I believe The Ivy was proposed across Edgewater from the Publix, where the UPS store is currently at.

MPB Staff Report for Edgewater Plaza in College Park. It looks like they've subdivided the building into multiple units. Developer envisions downtown Orlando midrise

I've been doing some research recently, looking into buying a house. I've pretty much settled on the south of downtown area. From the different sources I've found, I'm beginning to think that this area is really destined for some great development over the next several years. I just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on the area and have a collective spot where topics on the area could be gathered. Here's some of the things that I have found about south of downtown that's got me excited: Downtown South Committee / Main Street Lymmo Expansion Study South Orange Avenue Development Activity Orange/Michigan Vision Plan South of Downtown Vision Plan SODO Orlando Health/Amtrak Sunrail Station Anyway, that's a start.

Doubt that it will happen any time soon, but it was supposed to be bulldozed and replaced with a minor league baseball stadium.

I disagree on the quality difference of the two phones. I think the Treo may have picked up some of the tinting in the glass of the building where the picture was taken and the iPhone did not. Of course, it's the Treo's fault for picking up that tinting, but I think this change did effect the differences in the picture qualities more so than if the pictures were both taken outside. I have an iPhone and love it, but there's just something funky with that Treo picture. Great picture though!
