Yeah it was pretty amazing to see the reaction from people in College Park on the Community Paper Facebook page. Folks are NOT happy to have another Pizza place. Although Alfonso's is looking to be more of a wing place than a Pizza place. From what we hear.

Yep...I think that's why we are told to head to the stairwells in a tornado.

I believe that already have broken ground. I think the tall "towers" on the right hand side when looking at the property are the stairwells for the apartments. Maybe?

Great...don't mind the brick road if it's part of the park just didn't want the space to be wasted at a driveway for park ranger building. Can't wait to see it completed.

I think we've talked about this before on here but it's worth posting my disappointment again.. "SunRail trains will arrive at each station every 30 minutes during peak service times when traffic on the roads is trypically at its worst. During non-peak periods, trains will operate every 2 hours. Initially, there will be no service on the weekends." How silly....2 hours off-peak and no weekends! I get that it's a commuter train but most people will need to ease into the idea of taking a train. The best way to do that is to run on the weekends when people aren't in a rush and are going to Winter Park or Downtown for an event or for dinner. Convince them to take it once (e.g. free on Magic game nights, Broadway show nights, etc.) and show them how nice and easy it is.

Covers are up on the FL Hospital/Health Village stop....If you cross over the bridge fromt the parking garage to the hospital you can get a great view. Unfortunately my phone was dead at the time

Honestly I do like the sound of Colonial Avenue.

Yeah the count i feel like does a better job than the city at keeping roads paved and free of pot holes. Also worth noting that because we don't get snow our roads take slightly less beating.

SunRail layover station at Sand Lake, Florida Mall, Airport, Convention Center...at least those were the proposed stops a while back.

We have lots of sports venues that way....they are all at ESPN's Wide World of Sports. :-) They at least understood that inorder to make money you need to have more than professional teams you need amateur sporting competitions. I think if there were money to be made having a sports team in the tourist area Disney would be the one's to have figured that out. Instead they have Atlanta Braves spring training. I have to say that when I went to a game it didn't look like it was tourists in attendance but instead mostly locals/snow birds. You also don't see Disney marketing Braves spring training like they do cirque du soleil..there's probably a reason for that.
