Oh I completely agree, lots of history to work with here compared to Charlotte, there is absolutely no chance of an "epicenter type" development in Columbia there's just too much space and cheap space at that.

Eh, epicenter replaced the old convention center, I consider that a much better replacement. I'm not sure what was there beforehand though

Luckily we have a bunch of publicly accessible parking garages around the area and me with too much time at the moment.

Give this poor guy some tickets and I promise to have no voice by the end of the game. On a serious note, I really think this is the issue at hand, a lot of people who attend our games do it just to say they were there and don't really get into the game. That's changed a lot the last few years, but we have a loooooong way to go before we're respected as a fan base. If the upper and lower bowl's could switch spots for a game, I think there would be a very noticeable difference in crowd noise and enthusiasm.

I mean to say but didn't know if I should since I worked there, that we were quickly corralled onto 3 of the 6 Chiquita floors. They probably got the floor space at a fraction of what new Class A office space would go for right now due to Chiquita not having any early termination clause in their lease, which probably wasn't possible due to the incentives package they received to move here.
