This is for photos of riverfront construction Structures are starting to go up at the riverfront. Including some bridges the foundation for the big canopy structure, plumbing for the fountains, plantings and the hillside is almost complete.

This location is less than a mile from Fed Ex world headquarters which sites on a golf course. Also 1 mile from germantown, about 3 from collierville, easy access to olive branch and byhalia plus east memphis. Pretty much seems like they are in the center of the golfing community lol. This development like everything else will do fine.

Yes the floor typically are not 1 foot thick more like 6 to 8 inches and wiring and plumbing in hotels typically run in vertical chases with hvac, plumbing etc being located near the chase and corridor. So you dont have a large floor to floor height. Also this building is only 20 floor with about 5 of those being in the base.

Thats not the crane that is drilling the footing, i have not seen the crane base yet.

That design will be spectacular on the Memphis riverfront. This is the first large scale project so it cant get too outrageous or it wont happen. My hopes is this will spur more large hotels once other developers see it will work in Memphis. But i feel the scale is right and this will really stand out in Memphis.

Could this be a Top Golf... its very similar the application includes a bar, event space, entertainment, large 150' tall post to support the golf nets. I mean based off the site plan and the aerial from Nashville's top golf this has got to be one. Located off Bill Morris Parkway and Germantown rd southeast memphis. -
That spot is a pit right now im speaking of the spot next to the garage. but as an architect all you have to do is put the garage under ground put a large public plaza above it and sit the hotel about 30 feet in the air on a pedistal.

It would be nice to have the fountains back memphis to be so hot has the least amount of fountains and plazas. The hotel should go right on front street next to that existing listing garage much easier to build and right next to the convention center

Idk I think memphis definitely has preserved enough of the grit and grind lol. Some of those warehouse buildings i am ok with loosing it will help the city feel a little more refreshing. We do need a bit of a glass era here.

No i have not mentioned any work at the Grand Hyatt site that work is expected sometime between now and June. Hmm never really saw that project before, I am assuming that building was structurally deficient or like with the nylon net they would like to just build new construction to maximize the amount of units they can fit in the buildings.

Downtown mobility center photos. Vance Avenue apartments, also they are demolishing the large warehouse next door.

So from the street to the top will be a 501 foot tall building and a 601 foot tall building.

The downtown Mobility Center has broken ground. The streets are closed off around the property and the parking equipment and lot are being dug up. I will try to get some pictures if it stops being rainy and drab.
