  1. Since when does AA do mainline to NYC? As far as I knew they do Sat only service on Republic 175's.
  2. There really aren't enough gates right now. If it wasn't for the PSA MX base then GSP would really be in trouble with overnight parking. At least a couple planes a night go straight in for scheduled MX each night and don't have to take up a gate. Even now from time time time multiple airlines have to tow planes on and off gates overnight b/c of the lack of space.
  3. United has one on Friday, October 7th. Take advantage of it :-)
  4. The airport plans to tentatively reopen Thomas Creek in July. There are no plans right now to reopen RJ Rockers at this time. The airport continues to use covid as an excuse and states they don't want to spread things thin with too many restaurants. With Delta being the only airline on the B side, RJ Rockers is the odd man out right now.
  5. For the record, American is not dropping any air service for their bus service. ABE-PHL, ACY-PHL, and LNS-PHL are new service additions. ACY and LNS did not previously have AA flights at all and ABE only had flights to CLT and ORD for AA.
  6. United has been doing 3x a day for a while now to EWR on weekdays. 6am, 10:29am, and 6:04pm.
  7. RJ Rockers and Thomas Creek still have not reopened since closing at the start of the pandemic.
  8. Well if maybe in a year or two it comes back is considered a suspension then, yes, just a suspension. We know how airlines love to use that word though....just ask Frontier!
  9. Here's an article about it: https://thepointsguy.com/news/united-washington-dulles-suspensions/
  10. United announced internally to their employees they are ending IAD service to 11 cities, effective Mar 2nd. Unfortunately GSP is on that list. AVL as well. No word why, but probably has to do with the regional flying staffing shortage. An official announcement should come soon!
  11. Boston was a repositioning flight. The EWR outbound cancelled due to weather.
  12. Agreed. I miss the old nonstop from GSP to PIT!
  13. It shouldn't. Traffic isn't an issue. GSP doesn't encounter ATC delays nor does it ever have a long taxi line with departure delays. Should be a non issue.
  14. I'm guessing it's Avelo to HVN
  15. That is absolutely true. Any airport that is much much smaller with half the passenger traffic is gonna be easier from a passenger perspective than the larger airport!
  16. Who says GSP is bleeding? They are doing quite well.
  17. United has added a special nonstop from GSP to Syracuse for the Clemson game. The flight to SYR leaves GSP at 6:30pm on Thursday, October 14th and arrives in SYR at 8:59pm. The return to GSP is Saturday morning, October 16th at 8:00am and arrives back at GSP at 10:18am. United is already selling roundtrip tickets on it's website for as low as $217 round trip. Just a FYI for anyone wanting to head up!
  18. United is about to go back to pre pandemic level flights at GSP in October. They also seem to be looking to add flights for away fans coming to Clemson games. In Sept and 1st weekend of October, United has nonstops to and from Atlanta and Boston for the Ga Tech and BC games respectively. Why Atlanta? Who knows lol. Their flight schedule isn't finalized after that so no word on what they may be doing the rest of the the football season.
  19. Go with the current livery ;-)
  20. Right now Endeavor flies the route for Delta twice a day using CRJ-900's.
  21. They could always come back, but when they stopped last year they didn't just pause, they took all their stuff with them. Silver occupies Frontiers old offices now. More specifically FSS, bc Silver outsources all of their work at GSP.
  22. Unless you have insider information I'd be careful with those flights. Right now in the pandemic, airlines are only finalizing their schedules 1 to 2 months out. The rest that is published is a place holder schedule. United, for example, only has an official schedule until the end of July. Now, some of those flights could stuck, but odds are not all of them will!
