  1. It was relocated to Fluor Field a couple of months ago.
  2. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/bollard
  3. My workplace is located on one of those three dead end roads, so this is most welcome, although we will likely have to reconfigure our loading dock as trucks currently use Green Heron Road to back in.
  4. If it weren't for the old cheese grater bridge still in place, this area would be unrecognizable. It looks to be a huge improvement!
  5. Did Kitchen Sync on Laurens Rd. ever open?
  6. It closed a couple of months ago.
  7. I've been waiting a QuikTrip on the Motor Mile, but this will do.
  8. That was a point of contention for a very long time as the pipe is owned by the Water Department. They were worried about lawsuits. I was told it was originally going to be contained in an enclosure which would be city property. The paint is obviously a compromise.
  9. FYI: The exposed sewer pipes will remain. There are currently no plans to reroute, or bury them.
  10. Dang! I was hoping to see a QuikTrip on that corner.
  11. Has anyone seen the drainage system they installed for CubeSmart? The foundation is surrounded by 8-foot corrugated metal pipes, three wide.
  12. They lost several key members of their staff in just a few weeks. Bummer.
  13. That reminds me of the Hardee's in Grand Forks, ND. In the mid-'80s that store had a property line dispute. They had to demolish the store and rebuild it, six feet away from its original location. The new store opened just 30 days after the old one was demolished!
  14. Yes, it would likely become a one-way street.
  15. The city is looking at two options: connecting to Richland Way via Traxler St. or Boyce Springs Ave. via Haviland Ave.
  16. Does anyone know why the Marathon station on Woodruff Rd. at Roper Mtn. Rd. closed this week? I inquired to the Greenville Journal thinking CubeSmart bought the property, but they didn't find any property transfers.
  17. Earshot has reopened. The store looks nice from the photos.
  18. Update: Bill confirmed to me that yes, he was made aware of the siren.
  19. FYI: A temporary protected bike lane was installed on Friday on the opposite side of the street. If this construction wasn't happening, it's likely that both sides would have been protected.
  20. I wonder if Bill knew that the Pointe Hotel literally "has a Hemi"?
  21. I spoke with the city architect about this on Saturday. The winning bid is being finalized.
