  1. I was thinking that the 6 story brown building and surface parking lot on the SW corner of 8th and Commerce were part of the Baptist complex as well(?) The Southern Baptist Convention's five-story denominational headquarters at Ninth and Commerce isn't part of the sale.
  2. I noticed the Checkers on West End had closed. Is there any knowledge regarding this site?
  3. I believe the garage under construction will be built only on the MDHA land. Extra parking spaces will be constructed underneath the tower when it's constructed.

  10. That's probably my profile, and the two hotels are the OMNI in Louisville and the Fairmont in Austin.

  13. I recall Publix mentioning they aren't ruling out opening at two separate locations. "...Publix store in Capitol View would not preclude another store in Midtown or elsewhere in urban Nashville — meaning this does not appear to be an either/or scenario for the grocer." The store in Midtown would be smaller, whereas the Capitol View location would be full service.
  14. There will definitely be a hole in the hillsboro village area until the Kroger opens in 2016. The Barry Hill location is already overcrowded.
  15. Holiday Inn & Suites render from The Tennessean. The ground floor includes retail.
  16. I would rather him scale back than to start with an underwhelming design. We will end up with the best possible project given the circumstances.
