  1. Interesting. I can’t tell from the website who is running this. Any ideas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. New spectrum long term care faculty, replacing services currently being provided at the former Kent community hospital building on fuller. The other site on leffingwell is close to done. https://newsroom.spectrumhealth.org/spectrum-health-to-build-new-rehab-long-term-care-facilities/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I’m not sure where this info came from, but They were open today and owner John said there are no plans to close. My wife did ask about the for sale sign that has been in the window for several weeks. She was told something like “the building has always been for sale for the right price” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I first saw iccf plans for division/wealthy in 2004 ish from a student who worked on it. Anybody here part of that first rendering/process? I can’t remember if the drawings above were part of that. I seem to remember they were in color - but that was a long time ago Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. A lot of people care. All those salaries contribute to the cost of healthcare in our community and make healthcare and health care insurance more difficult to afford. Just because other people/industries are doing it doesn’t mean it’s a good thing for our community. Spectrum Health says they are committed to to lowering health care costs, and part of that is examining how they spend their money. For community based non profit there is not a lot of public information about how much total compensation the top people receive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. The old Amtrak station has been repainted in candy shop colors. Anybody know what the plans are for the building? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Spectrum does not have a great history with that. They had the opportunity to do this on their building on Michigan, but instead they located the restaurants in an interior food court, leaving blank wall and parking ramp entrances along the Michigan sidewalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I continue to bike there most Saturday mornings There are several groups of tents along the river there. It also looks like they are the process of upgrading the electric transmission towers that travel over the old dump. As of last week all the old towers were surrounded by wood platforms, which I believe are to prevent heavy equipment from sinking in the mud. New tower parts were on the ground beside. Anyway know the story on this upgrade? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Yep Story just posted to MLive.com. It’s behind the paywall, so I’m not sure how to share it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Any updates on this ? I recently found the bike path around the dump and it does seem to be a good spot for a big solar farm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. See if you can figure out the history behind this. I found it in a parkway in the east hills neighborhood. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Looks like more than take out. Here is a pic through their front window. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Is it March 12 then? I will be there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. United way has posted an update. 200 families including 400 children served. https://www.hwmuw.org/blog/2019/8/26/fulton-manor-six-months-in-over-200-families-sheltered Drove by today. Looks much more quite than in the past. Very few cars in the parking lots.
