1501 South Mint is also closing.  They say they will be back at a different location.

Sad. I was a strict vegan for around four years and that was the one place in town (back when it was called Luna's) where I could always count on a reliable meal.

Not a huge loss, but I found myself over at Selwyn today and was going to grab lunch at the Mellow Mushroom (admittedly it would have been the first time I was in there in 5+ years). Was surprised to see that it is gone.

Unrelated: Anyone know where to get a -good- Carolina- style cheeseburger (meaning mustard, chili and onions on a plain roll). I am very concerned that the days of a good (meaning cheap) chili burger may be over after Brooks is gone.

That parking lot is a mess.  I used to work at the uptown and Ballantyne locations.  The Uptown location at one point was the busiest because of bar sales and takeout/delivery.  Not sure about now.
