  1. That is the upstairs of Zara. Zara will be two stories
  2. I recently went to the new side of A and noticed how quiet it was. Barely any restaurants too and people. Especially the main corridor. It seemed strange
  3. These numbers are not really a fair comparison as some of the cities combine the numbers for all airports in that city.
  4. Stampede is right lol
  5. Yup, exactly. Terrible
  6. Catering is basically the people/service that provides our food and drinks for the flights. A lot of times Charlotte and Philly are horrible. There is always something missing. Snacks missing, ice missing, First Class meals missing or wrong, paper documents missing so we don’t know the details for the flight. These things never happen at other bases. Philly and Charlotte (former U.S. airways) have the worst catering system. Yes and the managers are super strict for no reason. Chicago and other bases aren’t like that. It’s Dallas and Charlotte that have strict and mean seniors and managers
  7. Yes, with AA we have over 3,500 flight attendants that based in Charlotte and most of them live in Charlotte. Some of them commute from other cities. (Dallas has over 6,000). There are many flight attendants based in other cities that bid for trip sequences specifically to avoid transferring in Charlotte because they hate the crowdedness and chaos. The catering is awful too. I hope things get better when they change the catering company.
  8. The first few places that most people from NYC, NJ, upstate NY, Pittsburgh and people from random midwestern rust belt places think of moving to are FL and TX. It’s not that they are dying to move there necessarily, it’s just that they want something warmer for the most part. Charlotte, Atlanta and Nashville are secondary choices for them. Yes jobs also play a role.
  9. This is how bad flight attendants hate the Charlotte airport. Every time I post a story they comment. Probably get unfollows too
  10. I was one of those people haha….there was not even one empty tenant in the mall. It’ll be interesting to see what closes after the holidays (all American girl is one)
  11. Who is Ioanni?
  12. This is good news but I can’t help but wonder why are there so many jewelry store at SP? There were a lot even before but now it’s like twice as many!
  13. https://www.bizjournals.com/charlotte/news/2024/12/09/american-airlines-clt-airport-leases.html?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR0S4ittXV4NgD9GVdI-v0TnU81NG533aEqhAvoa-pzbqbAGOH_z3I1zXAA_aem_GGtKY55zUzyX2LWekABZOg Can anyone read this article? It’s blocked for me
  14. What percentage of these people are in the rural parts of the state I wonder?
  15. Could’ve would’ve should’ve but no actions it seems
