What is Columbia's best example of modern architecture?

Columbia doesn't have any uber-modern, funky examples of contemporary architecture, but it does have a few examples of modern architecture. Which one do you think is the best?

MTC has a new building, well fairly new, in that business park at Farrow and Parklane. I don't have any photos of it, but it is a prett sharp looking building.

Not as good as the Meridian, though. It looks like something out of Batman.

I think that the Meridian is the best. I love the little spike things that stick out near the top

The Adesso project will be the best once its built. It will have the round corner piece and a nice mix of materials on the exterior. I think the Convention Center is a great example as well. It will be interesting to see how the modern designs hold up to time.

This vote is a tough nut to crack; but I went for the Meridian. I wouldn't even consider anything out in the boonies.

I voted for the First Citizen's tower. It's a nice, classy, modern building. They all are, but it has a little something extra that pushed it over the top for me. Cool thread.

I went with the convention center on this one, since I tend to think of modern architecture as consisting of lots of glass and steel and the convention center is what comes the closest to doing so.

Honestly, i know this might sound offensivee....but I think the most modern building in Columbiia is the freakin Heart Center at Palmetto Richland!

Well, hospital architecture these days isn't nearly as boring as it used to be--some of it is downright impressive in fact--so that's not as far-fetched as it may sound.
