I've never seen pictures of Annapolis, but I really enjoyed this! It seems very pedestrian friendly.

I've been to the US, but I'm living in europe.

This city reminds me much more of a european city than of an american city.

The people were great, there was a great deal of history, and the whole city was very interesting.

I grew up in Annapolis, Maryland. Right downtown on Prince George St. What a place to grow up. I still live in Maryland and own a house in Annapolis but in 12 months I'll be moving to Orlando. Here are some pics from 2003 when Hurricane Isabel blew through:

Annapolis is a great town -- I try to go there every year for the Simply Sail boat show -- I believe it's one of the nation's largest in-water sailboat shows.
