It looks like Vivien Thomas Way will be closed permanently. I'm surprised by how much the back has been built up along Medical Center. I hope they have a great plan for traffic when all is done. It's a bad bottleneck already through there.

Try parking there for an appointment in the North or South tower. The East garage is normally full by 9AM, so you have to park in the Central garage and do the hike and change elevator four times along the way. There is also no valet parking in the East garage any longer.

Are we getting close to when the finally raze Oxford House?   Looks to me like it will be  a very tight job.

It is a real mess over there too. I have PT twice a week and end up having to park in the Clinic garage and walking to the South tower. I have to do this for the rest of December, and it looks like my surgery is going to be in January with 6 more weeks of therapy after that. The Central garage fills up by 9:30 and the addition to the Clinic garage is always almost full. Either way there is not enough parking, and the construction is going to last for 3 more years.

Good thing it is not my knee that is getting operated on. They do have little golf cart shuttles, but you never know if those folks are going to show up for work or not.

Does Vanderbilt not have valet services? I feel like that is very common at most big hospitals nowadays?
