That is already in process.  DRB approved those plans in late 2021. Getting bids now.

Agreed.  I hope it remains. The Ivey's Hotel and Residences in Charlotte.  Loved that they used the department stores former logo as the name and signage.

Me too. The last thing Greenville needs is any other Main St. buildings falling under the wrecking ball. Unless the building is a hopeless loss (which doesn't seem possible anymore?), or maybe a recent build without any historical or replaceable aesthetic value,  new height needs to be off Main. Except for the one or two parking lots on Main, too, of course.
