They stated this is the first phase of a very large operation at PTI. This is great news!

When is Boom forecast to start hiring people in North Carolina? Do they have a team on site yet or are they overseeing any progress on the factory from Colorado and through subcontractors? Still no open roles for Boom in NC (only 11 open jobs in Colorado too) and 0 employees on LinkedIn report North Carolina or the Triad as their work location. Given the state funded facility / hangar should be complete for them in 2024, I thought they would start actually hiring people locally, but I realize they don't have a viable plane yet ready to assemble.

it is between the fast growing RDU airport and super hub at CLT airport.

I don’t buy that argument. GSP is between ATL and CLT and that airport has Breeze, Avelo, and Southwest.

GSP Greenville's airport served 2.1 million passengers in 2022 and PTI in Greensboro served 1.568 million.   GSP is bigger so I would expect it would have more airlines.  I expect PTI to grow in airlines and passengers with all the new industrial growth in the area.

But CLT is bigger than all the commercial airports in both Carolinas combined! CLT had 53.4 Million in 2023 and may hit 60 Million this year.  So many people from the Triad do head towards Charlotte's CLT.
