Orlando's Hometown National Champions

At the half, our Knights have kicked into gear with a score of 27-7 over the East Carolina Pirates after a veritable potpourri of penalties early on. Charge On, please!

And the final with a truly ridiculous amount of penalties on both sides:

UCF    51

ECU.   28

The Best Team In Florida improves to 2-0!

UCF continues to be fantastic.   Miami is looking great and Florida too.

FSU and S. Florida are probably hoping for some contact tracing to cancel their seasons.

UCFs QB ruffled some feathers when he said UCF was best in state.  But the real crime is that it can’t be settled on the field.  I don’t think here is evidence that UCF is best after seeing all 3 play today but I don’t see any evidence that they aren’t.

If the CFP decided to expand the playoffs this year you could realistically see THREE Florida teams participate.  Wouldn’t that be something?

Our Knights march on in ESPN’s Power Rankings at # 9 and CBS Sports’ Tomorrow’s Too 25 Today at #14:

Charge On!

(Half A** U might as well just move to Waycross...)

I have to love all the SEC hype. Last season, Ole Miss lost to Memphis and Lane at FAU lost to UCF but you’d think the Rebels were some great test of Florida’s ability. Fascinating.

Just a quick note that, as predicted, Texas has once again shown it’s all hat and no cattle by losing to the Horned Frogs. Every year the pundits insist this will be the year the Longhorns are for real but yet things always seem to come a cropper after a week or two.

This, of course, is of note to us because much the same may be said of Da U. After beating Louisville and FSU (really?) they were supposedly BACK, when in fact those two wins were unspectacular. Fascinating.

It’s probably good I decided to give up the Gators for our Knights all those years ago. It seems Dan Mullen is trying to turn The Swamp into a superspreader paradise just because he lost a football game. SAD! It’s particularly unfortunate given Bobby Bowden was just hospitalized with COVID.

The hapless Cows lose to our Knights 58 - 46. That gives the Temple Terrace Terrors a 1 - 8 record for the season, with 0 conference wins.

The series is now tied 6 - 6 all time. Our UCF lads have taken the last 4 in a row.

As for USF’s new wunderkind from Clemson, Jeff Scott, I guess all we can say is “Moo”.

Charge On!

Meanwhile, anyone who may have a clue where our defense has disappeared to this season should contact Randy Shannon ASAP....

A bittersweet day as KZ announces he’s entering the transfer portal for a chance to QB upon his return to football.

With DG solid, something had to give. Thankfully, KZ s a chance to follow his dream but it’s tough to imagine him in another school’s colors.

We’ll Charge On! and just wait until the day KZ comes back to coach our Knights to the top.
