Now that I've warned you....

The immersive Van Gogh exhibit....  I've seen many Van Gogh paintings in museums around the world, most notably in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris and consider him one of my favorites. I agree this may be a tad cheesy, but it will be a fun way to experience the work of this noted master. I will take my Granddaughter. I think it will help her to appreciate art and this painter a little better.

Just saw this earlier. No dates yet, but Picasso and van Gogh in the same year at Frist....it'll be a record year

This Van Gogh “immersive digital experience” is not a museum exhibit of his paintings. It will not be at the Frist.

The Frist displayed some Van Gogh paintings as part of the Cleveland Museum of Art's traveling exhibit on or about 2008. Just about every notable artist in the history of art has been displayed there at one time or another.  And  I have seen them all. The Frist is an awesome resource for Nashville and it's art deco interior is one of the best examples of that style around. From the exhibit guide book...

Muck Rock is a phenomenal artist out of Los Angeles. She did this mural the day after she actually did one for my girlfriend and I on our garage.

She has one of the most unique signatures I have ever seen, but I find it to be absolutely hilarious. Unfortunately our neighbors did not feel the same and spoke to the police and Metro Codes in an attempt to deem it "obscene". Due to this and our desire to be good neighbors, we have removed the signature (with the permission of the artist) with the exception of the Muck Rock thought bubble.
