It was a nice to take a long walk in nature’s splendor at Nashville’s Ravenwood Park. (I walked for about three hours, extending my walk to Heartland Park and back along the Stones River Greenway.)

Mount Juliet may be getting a new 14 acre park along Clemons Rd., near North Mt. Juliet Rd. 

The initial concept includes:

- Gymnasium space to be used for basketball, pickleball and other activities. Meeting rooms for corporate and public use.

- Two Olympic size pools. One would be dedicated to school aquatic and senior activities and another for public use. Justice mentioned one indoor and one outdoor pool.

- Ten pickleball courts, four tennis courts and volleyball courts.
