Plans for Pedrick's Garden at Falls Park continue to move forward. The City of Greenville has been awarded $100,000 by the SC Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism for the construction of it.

You can see schematic site plans for the future park here: http://www.jmmds.com/2012/11/landscape-design-for-a-greenville-sc-public-park-part-two/

I like this idea and all, but wish that the area between Falls and Cleveland Park would be focused on first. The metal bridge is dangerous when wet, an eyesore, it's loud, and the area around the river is a mess. Again, Pedrick's Garden looks great but why not clean up other areas before spending more money in a place that already looks fine?
