Any word on retailers down there? I hope a small cafe opens up that addresses the Canal Walk with outdoor tables. Right now, most of the new businesses seem a separate entity from the Canal Walk which seems completely counter-intuitive to what it was designed for and what it should be. I think at least next Spring, Highwater will have some outdoor seating.

Starbucks will be opening in James Center... would it make sense to have another so close? Not to mention they brew better coffee across the way at Southern Railway Deli (illy).

It's also worth noting that the commercial spaces aren't for lease... rather they are commercial condos.
