I am so over this F*ckn town. This bozo mayor does nothing while Alex Martins and the Devos' pull this crap. After a dirt lot sits empty for YEARS...we now get a parking garage, a half a$$ed suburban office building cut in half and a fat @ss wall of china part2 (copy of society x) with a vizor. That hideous wide monstrosity will kill any "views" we had from Exploria when the tv cameras pan towards SunTrust. Under-I Park is now back to parking, the Lightning get a 3.5b development and we get this???? This town is such a crap show and this incompetent red neck Gomer Pile wanna-be of a Mayor is the ring leader. PRIME real-estate in DTO becomes this, meanwhile Miami has 2-3 1000' buildings going up designed by real architect firms...

What happened to the Summa Building? Holocaust Museum?, Pulse Museum?...all Orlando pipedreams and part of the ORL cemetery?

I received an invitation to bid on the Millwork package for the edge meaning they are at least collecting numbers for a hard number. They are probably a year out from starting construction is my guess for what its worth.

Went to Water Street last week and wow. Tampa has turned the corner. High end feels and adults spending money without frat boys, riff raff and bums at every turn. They actually used a real architecture firm like Gensler to design the area, Now St. Pete is using them for the 6 billion development around the new Rays Park. If we had those develpments, I can only imagine the crap that BB would design and it would be hailed as magnificent. All the while Tampa and St.Pete have lapped us. Buddy and this $hitty city council need to go before they run this place further into the ground. It really is sad how far behind we have fallen.

since its on the roadway medians....I assume it was the city. You can tell Buddy does not give a flying f*ck about DT with the state of distress its in.

Has anyone else noticed the city skimping on landscaping quality. They have been planting those raggidy a$$ Sylvester palms instead of the much nicer Phoenix Date Palms. They even did it on the "crown jewel park" of the city and the new "Gateway Entrance" they are building where the 7-11 got demolished. There also use to be a flowers in the park. now its just overgrown grass and weeds. Meanwhile over in the burbs Packing District they fork out the money for the nicer quality Palms?

DTO is poop compared to Tampa's Waterstreet and DT St. Pete. Thats pretty bad...and im talking light years behind now.

So whats going to happen to ACE Cafe now that they close? Any ideas for re-use of space?

1000% AGREE its a gigantic wall that blocks all that was of interest behind it. On another note, I cant wait for something to block 55W. That flying nun is repulsive.
