  1. Maybe that’s the formula…block Pinnacle’s view get a taller building? Love the new design. Agree with downtownresident, probably 540’ range. Absolutely impressive irrespective of height. This is turning out to be what we all saw as it’s potential. Yeah, would be nice if there were a 700’ er mixed in there but it will come. With the way this is evolving, who knows.
  2. LOVE that! Would love to hear an explanation on the engineering/construction.
  3. Wow. One of the most dramatic shots I’ve seen. Never would have thought we’d have a skyline that stretches that far. Imagine when it fills in…
  4. It’s more/worse than vegetarian , Ron. It’s vegan. There’s a difference. I know because I’m married to a member of the space alien cult. In all seriousness, the food is pretty good. Staff was very accommodating and gracious today.
  5. I didn’t know Lynn and Bryan well. Only spoke with them at UP meets. Lynn was always so kind and positive and she will be missed. Many prayers for Bryan and family. God bless you, Lynn!
  6. So if you’re against the track, you’re against helping kids in need. No one’s against helping kids in need are they?? Are they??
  7. That’s the start of a double canyon with a nice tall, future, flat iron in the middle.
  8. Wait…only a TEMPORARY electric service permit???? Does that mean Tony doesn’t think this building will last??? Did I do that right?
  9. So when we’re in our 100s we’ll have an awesome skyline to drool over??
  10. Ron is that map a half day at 50 mph?
  11. I’ll second that! Love Elliston. Born at Baptist in the 60s and cut my metal band teeth in the bars. In the 80s. So grateful Exit/In is going to be saved. Wish Sal’s (not on Elliston) could have been. R.I.P.
  12. Don’t forget the giant “man parts” driving down Broadway.
  13. I think two or three other buildings with some type of spire/s would be nice. That would create both continuity and identity across the skyline as a whole.
