Thank you, JSI, for creating this topic to honor Burt. We're working on getting an article on the obituary page of the Times Dispatch, which will mostly be about his acting career. I will post when it appears. And thank you all for your kind words. Burt's family is so appreciative.

I knew Burt many years ago in Richmond and reconnected with him here in NYC. I considered him a great friend. I will certainly share your wonderful comments with his family. I'm sure there will be an obituary in the Richmond Times Dispatch. Burt loved these forums. He would be so pleased at your kind words and respect for his devotion to sharing info on Richmond.

I am sad to report that Burt died this week. A late comer to the computer world, he loved these forums and reveled in all his friends and followers. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace, my friend.

Hi Joan, I am deeply saddened to hear the news about Burt. He truly was an incredible man and an amazing friend. I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet and get to know him on his visits to Richmond. I thank you for informing us about his passing, I may never have found out otherwise. Will there be a memorial service for him? I would love the opportunity to pay my respects. My condolences on your loss, he will truly be missed. Best, Tommy

Thank you for your kind words, Tommy. Burt was indeed an incredible man and will be missed by many. When I get info on a memorial service, I will post that info here. I am fairly new to these forums and posted the info on the various topics Burt had either started or contributed to. I didn't know if there was one place to put that info. I'm also trying to figure out how to include a photo of him. Thanks again. Joan
