I will happily eat crow! I think they have a good shot at beating Butler, but it will be tough to do. ODU needs to bring their A-game if they hope to advance.

So it's going to be atleast a year before anything happens? Nice to see the pilot moving out of that crappy building. I ran gas pipe on that roof about 8 years ago and it was in disrepair then.

So this building is a go! I can't wait to see it built. This is the single most architecturally significant building built in the last 20 years or more. I didn't think it had a chance, great news! I will have to come see it when complete.

There are plenty of places in Virginia to live that have little or no traffic; Pungo, Goochland, Waverly, Smithfield, Franklin, etc.. If that's what someone wants, what's stopping them from moving? If I could talk to this person, I would strongly suggest he do so.

I liked the red light cameras. I used to travel every day from Kempsville road to Indian River road to get to 64. On that left turn there was always about three or four cars running that light and I witnessed quite a few near collisions there. When the cameras were put in place all that stopped.

The other cities need to realize light rail is needed before it is needed. If you wait till it is needed, it will be too late. This is called foreward thinking, looking at the bigger picture. In ten years they will all be crying about not having an alternative mode of transportation while sitting in traffic for two hours going from downtown Norfolk to Town Center. Why build a levey for a cat 3 huricane, knowing one day you will get a cat 5.

Because of what George Mason did last year, I don't think they will have to win the CAA tourney to get a bid. But they need to atleast win one or two games in the CAA tourney to get considered.

I don't see why they couldn't have just put the whole thing on one small footprint. Why waist all that valuable land? Also, I could have come up with a better design than that!

These must be the same NIMBYs that write comments in the pilot all the time. They probably don't even notice that the walls in their Colonel style Ranch home on their acre of land aren't square. Someone should tell them that on a windy day it may lean as much as a quarter inch in any direction! OOOOOOOH!

Guadalajara is Tex-Mex and not that great either, but the one on Shore Dr. does have a nice atmosphere if not a bit too loud for my taste.
