    I believe that is the Virginia Condos and they are going to be well out of range for $500 per month. They are over $150K.

    I think it sounds a bit pretentious, but that's just the connotation of the word for me.

    You are going to have a hard time finding something within walking distance for $500 per month. Augusta Rd is one of the pricier areas into town for residential homes, so I would imagine anything in the rental market would follow suit. You might have to look a little farther out to fit your price range.

    Personally, I found 90% of his posts to be about nothing. So, I am indifferent as to whether he returns or not.

    There was a proposal for this site 6-8 months ago, but the DPC nixed it based on some random historical data that really means nothing to anyone. The developers claimed that the building could not be preserved, because of safety reasons at that time. There has been nothing since that time. It really is a great location. Btw, your member data in the left hand column says you are from San Sousi ... I am pretty sure that it should be spelled San Souci.

    I heard the county has started a study on this area, in order to rezone it similarly to the RDV zoning in the Pete Hollis area. The thing that really stuck out to me was that they really want to push the density with mixed use and 4-8 story buildings. Not sure how reliable my source was though.

    With the cost of steel being so high, it is probably alot more cost effective to use wood framing.

    I noticed that this property is not owned by the city. Do they put statues commissioned by the City on private property?

    At one point in the article it says Sunday is the new Friday Parade, and at the end it says Friday is the new Sunday Parade. Nice.

    Just in case you guys did not know about restaurant.com, I thought I would post this. Anyway, you can by gift certificates for cheap. I paid $6 for a $25 gift certificate to Justins. They have lots of other restaurants in the area and all over the country for that matter. I got an email today for gift certificates for only $4. Very nice. Hope its not against the rules to pimp a deal like this.

    We had planned on doing the wine tasting, but we needed to be back in Greenville unfortunately. The line at the winery had started to get long by 3-4pm.
