UptownGottie replied to dubone's topic in Charlotte
These Townhomes are going up quick right off N. Graham. Hopper Communities have built quite a few projects around the uptown area. https://www.hoppercommunities.com/communities/north-end-terraces/- 621 replies

Any update on additional lighting on this tower? Are they waiting on an official opening or has that already passed? -
Has there been any update with the sale of this land? Now that it appears that the Practice Facility charade is over I wonder if Tepper is focusing his energy on trying to get this land?

Does anyone know what's going on here on Statesville between Callahan and Oaklawn? I attended a zoning meeting a few years ago about a mixed used apartment and retail project that was supposed to go here but i'm not sure if it got approved. Also Camp Northend is putting up fencing near the corner of Sylvania Ave and Statesville like they're about to break ground on another phase.- 621 replies

I'm sure it would be better if they had balconies. -

Will this project ever get built? I thought it finally got traction when the permits were filed but I guess not. -

The apartments located here finally have a website. I thought they would be condos but let's just add it to the list of super luxury apartments. https://www.thereedcharlotte.com/ -

Has anyone seen any information on the residence units available here? Are they supposed to be apartments or condos? Usually by this time they would start trying to get some confirmed leases I would think. -

I think they're finishing up the last floor. If not, there should be only 1 more left.- 1,389 replies

I thought once the crane went up this project would get some traction. It appears to be no progress here. -

This thread needs some more attention. Charlotte isn't being recognized for the amount of active cranes this city has!!They're almost 20 between Uptown and Southend.

This is a really quality video. It really helps you get a feel of how the building will fits in the area. -
Ally Charlotte Center (f/k/a Tryon Place) - 26 floors - 427'
UptownGottie replied to Bled_man's topic in Charlotte
I don't mind the Ally building but I find i disappointing that companies offer amazing initial renderings and the actual projects do not come to look anything like it. The most recent ones I can remember in Charlotte that actually delivered are Railyard and Dimensional Place. I was so excited to see a project like the original one in the post link below. https://www.charlotteagenda.com/9499/tryon-place-uptown-charlottes-most-transformative-project/
