    RDF, in the Observer thread, you said it is likely an anchor like ally or US may be on board a couple of months ago... given that the original plan went from 26 stories to 36 and 400' to 600' and back to now who knows what..... if you have an ally taking 200-300k, how many floors and height do you estimate the revised TP to be... is a hotel still in the mix as well? that will be some intersection if this all happens

    I have blocked Piedmont on steroids. Haters gonna hate, kids gonna cry. Lived in Denver before CLT and sis lives in Minneapolis. All cool cities and all different with many pros and a few negatives... it doesn't have to be all "this sucks compared to that", just enjoy where you live and embrace or advocate for the positive changes or move somewhere you like better. Excited to hear more about the next tower or retail on the observer site as it becomes available. not this nonsense.

    In their extensive expansion plans did they plan for a future light rail access where you could get off the train and proceed to the terminal? I know the extra vehicle lanes are much needed but this would be a great asset to the city and could continue to the new Development by the lake... Denver last year completed their light rail from downtown and it's 20+ miles to the airport.

    even 6 more floors make it close to 690' and more of a statement on the skyline and slims it down, hold its own against Duke. no internet access in this tower, only pagers and blackberrys.

    that is true... this rail stop will become a much higher used destination point with whole foods/other retail, closest proximity stop to Tryon Place and future Observer site retail/mall/etc.. and could use a more open access to stonewall than going in and out of doors and closed stairwell. Also make the plaza and its WF restaurant more accessible and connected. Maybe there's another access I'm just not seeing on the rendering.

    Kind of wish the upper plaza was accessible to stonewall directly by exterior open air wide stairs instead of via enclosed stairwell or through whole foods....
