I was just checking out different westin hotels online. Nashville's isn't half bad compared to others in the U.S. Granted it doesn't look anywhere near as good as the j.w. Marriott. Now if we could just get a four seasons and a ritz carlton, we'll be set.

Mobile has a tower similar to that one. Its one of my favorite towers in the U.S.. Surely if mobile has one, then we can get one

Me too. As long as it looks classy, which I believe this looks very classy, then why not. What's wrong with a little theme? Nashville is known as the music city, so embrace it. Music is the number 1 reason why Nashville is the hot bed that it is today.

These are pics of Gatlinburg while we were there Monday morning. Anyone with any sense can see it was bad then at 9 in the morning. I keep watching these videos of people who were forced to leave that night saying they had no time or warning. What lies! It's been burning towards Gatlinburg since Wednesday. Yes, the winds unexpectedly speed it up but no warning? Really? When we left, people were still walking the streets and shops as if nothing was happening even tho the town was red, lol. We stopped at Chipotle in Sevierville on our way out and guys from the fire dept. were there, just sitting around making jokes of people who acted like it was a big deal. And now this morning, look at what a big deal it truly was. All kinds of fire departments and the military are working on it now but isn't it just a little too late? Why not work on this Wednesday before the whole town and all those animals burned? Make jokes, hillbillies!

That is exactly my thoughts on the matter as well. That's why Chattanooga, Sedona, and Juneau are right up there with Seattle and San Francisco to round out my top 5 favorite cities, not because of height but because of the experience.

Is there a way to get some of these updated pics of the skyline on Google images? I Googled: Nashville Skyline and half of them don't even have the Pinnacle tower, forget the Westin or Sobro or Skyhouse.

Just got back from Buffalo Wild wings. They have a Nashville hot chicken wing sauce now. It's pretty killer.

I've not heard about the NCI proposals. When were those announced? Any info on them? Any hopes of them actually being built?

I came up with an awesome idea for one in the observation tower topic. Dolly can take over what's his face's guitar tower and turn it into an observation tower with a roller coaster in the body of the guitar and some strings take you up and down in to the observation deck in elevators while other strings are drop zone rides. Making the project small like the boardwalk style while allowing it to be downtown and very unique. No? Too silly?

I think it looks awesome. Ignore what that ugly thing in that last post said.
