I think the dog bar where Pstone use to be is closed. I havent seen any activity there in weeks.

They must be doing an early topping out like the Museum Apartments did. The second tower is currently 3-4 floors shorter than the first tower.

I just looked on the UP google map and the development appears to include the automotive center at the right of the parcel. Does anyone have any info on when the auto center will be demolished or when construction may start?

I disagree, I don't see our politicians moving from passing HB2 to legalizing recreational marijuana use in a span of 5 years. Maybe 10 or 15, but I don't see 5.

RDF does your 4' calculation include the fall in elevation between Trade and 3rd? Or, maybe the renderings overestimated the drop in elevation.

The development adjacent to Midwood Park on Mecklenburg built about 2 years back that put 7 or 8 houses on a lot that had one house on it, I think Grandfather homes developed it, also used a cul de sac, and it's TERRIBLE.

She also singlehandedly killed the Old Chatham Swim Club and townhomes on the Vanlandingham property that the Plaza Midwood neighborhood and neighborhood association strongly supported.

Below is the link but a Crescent exec was named to the Harvey B Gantt center board today. The Charlotte Biz Journal article specifically quoted the Gantt board chair and the Crescent exec as saying one reason for doing this was to create and authentic link Tryon Place and the Gannt Center across the street ; in other words strategically incorporate the Gantt center in Tryon Place's plans, neighborhood and overall energy. Not only does Nova's need new a seating arrangement, they need to finish the siding of the expansion they did. The side facing Pecan still has Tyvek wrapping showing along the whole side of the building--and the Tyvek wrapper is weathering! Ridiculous. Its been probably a year. How is that okay for it to sit there unfinished staring everyone in the eye. Get it finished, Nova's!

Must be some serious bad blood there to pay for something and not use it. I can't imagine the rent is pennies...

Are you hearing something that indicates this project may be in jeopardy? Financial markets and macroeconomic fundamentals are two different things. The American Economny is fundamentally healthy. Financial markets and the economy are just out of sync at the current time.
