Panthers would then have to play at Clemson again for 2 years? Only reason I would want a new stadium is for hosting Final 4's and potentially Super Bowls (though I feel the current BoA would be enough since Jacksonville has hosted a Super Bowl). I love BoA and would hate to see it go anytime soon.

Not much can be done. 485 will be widened through there. Ardrey Kell will get intersections. Providence will need to be widened where it becomes 2 lanes. It's going to be a huge traffic nightmare in 5 years.

They're building plenty of crap in those cities, as well.

Also an NBA all-star game, another one most likely in a couple years, the PGA Championship in 2017, the ACC Football Championship, Belk Bowl, Belk College Football kickoff starting up this year, etc... I think Charlotte actually has a pretty strong case to get it. Hell, Jacksonville hosted a Superbowl.

I've used these in San Diego and Utah. They're excellent. I hope they are implemented.

I thought I saw something on here a couple of years ago about once the new federal courthouse is built, that Queens University had plans to take over the old court house and turn it into a law school and other uses. I'm sure there is someone much more in the know on this...

I've done work for a family of 3 that lives there. Kid is high school age. Not sure why they live there, but I did work for a family of similar demographics in South Park area apartments who were completely renovating their home in Eastover so living in their apartment for a year while the work was being done. Could be a similar reason. I didn't ask. Really didn't think of it at the time.

I think that it's ludicrous to have workforce housing to begin with.

Seems like a good size place for a major gym like LA Fitness. Not really any gyms in that part of town that I'm aware of.

Being a South Park resident for the foreseeable future, I'm excited about all of the growth, but traffic is going to suck. I wish there were plans to bring a streetcar down Tyvola from that Light Rail station, with a few stops on Fairview. Not sure that's really doable, and construction would make the area a nightmare for a couple of years, but one can imagine. No. It's a ghost town.
