  1. http://www.shopcitycreekcenter.com/m/ Something like what SLC has would be what uptown needs, imo. About 600k sf of retail.
  2. Tiger World in Rockwell is fantastic. More people should know about it. The best place to see big cats that I've ever been to. http://www.tigerworld.us/
  3. I always feel that if Salt Lake City can have it, we can have it. Their downtown is a ghost town except for the 2 malls and Temple Square *former resident of SLC
  4. I was just there today and it looked like black Friday
  5. If this changes someone's perception of NC, then their opinion wasn't worth crap to begin with.
  6. I'd guess you have a lot more restaurants around you and less families making dinner at home nightly, as well... speculating.
  7. It's crazy how many people suck at parallel parking
  8. Hopefully the new development where the colony apartments currently stand and also the church development become what you described
  9. I don't think anyone would be content losing out on tens of millions of dollars...
  10. One of the weirdest posts I've ever read on this site...
  11. Ive been in that building... it was a crap hole.
  12. This forum isn't moderated very well. Off-topic discussion and personal attacks have become rampant. It's becoming unreadable.
  13. The scandal is pretty much in one department and involving a few people in classes that are normal (no show) at a lot of universities. Mary Willingham, who is noted in the article, is a fraud. Most of the claims made over the years have been proven wrong or there has been no evidence to support it. The main issue is that the problems spanned a couple of decades and women's basketball will be hit hard with sanctions. Football and men's baseball were let off the hook just last week. The article is really just trying to beat a dead horse.
  14. You were more right than you realized. We got 2 DBS at the top of Gmans board, then a player that fits perfectly as a nickel. Gman was looking for DBS with certain traits (size/long arms/physical run stuffers), and also top athletes. After Jalen Ramsay, these 2 were actually the corners that Gman wanted. Keep in mind, he was a scout by trade. I couldn't be happier with this draft, and that doesn't even include the free agent signings, which had 2 steals.
  15. After Bosa and Shaq Lawson were selected, there were no DEs worth taking there. Gman went best player available. You need a heavy rotation of DTS coming in fresh. This commands double teams and frees up your pass rushers. We had to blitz way too much last season. I don't think this necessarily means Star will be allowed to walk in a couple of seasons. They have different skill sets and Gman loves his hog mollies. If you are constantly reaching for need, you have a much bigger chance of drafting a bust.
  16. Pavement is softer than concrete, and jogging/running can be terrible for your knees, ankles, shins, etc. They're trying to cushion the damage done. It's such a small difference I don't really understand it myself. Alternative forms of cardio would be better (biking, swimming, elliptical).
  17. I wish HB2 would be repealed sooner than later.
  18. I'm not sure about Texas, but Houston did just last year iirc. Most companies are just using this as free publicity. I doubt they actually care.
  19. NOVA and parts of MD. But not like DC itself.
